Kiersten and Rich were our wedding giveaway winners from the Portland Bridal Show, and from the moment we met with them in our Portland studio we knew it was meant to be. These two are such a kind and deserving couple and their entire day was filled with emotion and beautiful details from their love story. We were so happy to be there to capture every moment! Their wedding took place at The Foundry at Oswego Pointe, on (what was supposed to be) a rainy October day. The rain cleared just in time for their first look and continued for their entire wedding! Their ceremony was held overlooking Lake Oswego, where their family and friends tearfully witnessed these two seal the deal with vows and rings. Guests also enjoyed a reception that included heartfelt toasts (the best man even sang a song and played the ukulele!), cake and donuts, and lots of dancing. Everyone gathered outside and made a tunnel of sparklers as these two ran out into the night. It was such an honor to be a part of this wedding and we are SO glad we got to meet Kiersten and Rich. Congrats again you two!
We met Kerstin and Jason at Rachel’s Ginger Beer on Hawthorne Blvd. for some icy Moscow Mules before heading up and down the street for some fun urban photos. We popped in and out of shops and restaurants, and posed against hand painted murals during their session. Most of their time was spent acting silly and being in love, and we really enjoyed capturing it on camera. We can’t wait for their wedding in March!
Holly and Jules engagement shoot took place on a really pretty day, so we took advantage of it and hiked around Lacamas Lake in Camas, WA. We climbed up and down rocks and into the riverbeds to get tons of gorgeous photos, and I think it was worth it! Their love for each other is so obvious and photographed beautifully. We can’t wait for their wedding next September! Congrats on your engagement Holly and Jules!
Remember Audrey and Heath’s Forest Park engagement shoot with their French Bulldog Lola? Well their wedding day FINALLY came and we got to enjoy more of this couple’s fun personalities and beautiful faces! Their ceremony and reception took place at The Abernethy Center in Abigail’s Garden. Their ceremony was so sweet and really emanated who they were as a couple. After that, guests enjoyed food from different parts of the U.S. that represented pieces of their relationship story. Heartfelt toasts and tear-jerking first dances followed and then of course tons and tons of getting down on the dance floor. Although their wedding took place on a smoky day, it didn’t stop their friends and family from coming together to celebrate their love (and it actually made for really pretty photos!) It was a blast getting to know this couple as well as their friends and family. We were so glad to be a part of their wedding day!

Get comfortable because this wedding is filled with tons of details, fun moments, and beautiful photos! Stephanie and Sam were married at a friend’s home in Depoe Bay, Oregon which is part of the Whale Cove. It was particularly special because they have spent many coast getaways there! Stephanie wore a Claire Pettibone dress and carried a stunning bouquet from Solabee Flowers & Botanicals. Their ceremony took place underneath a traditional Jewish chuppah, that was made by Sam’s mom and a friend. It incorporated pieces of Sam’s mom’s wedding dress, Sam’s grandmother’s wedding dress, and his other grandmother’s special table linens, wow! One of their favorite moments from the day happened during the ceremony, when Sam’s groomsman dropped the rings! They were on a deck above the ocean and were so lucky they didn’t fall through the cracks! After a sigh of relief, and of course some happy tears for the new bride and groom, family and friends enjoyed each other’s company over whale watching, delicious food (Sam even served his famous crab cakes!), treats made by Sam’s family, cake from Back to Eden Bakery, a s’mores bar, and even a cannabis bar hosted by Sam’s company, High 5 Tours! Everyone had an amazing time at this wedding and we are so happy we got to be a part of it. Congrats again, Stephanie and Sam!
