A Lovely Day | Portland Oregon Wedding Photography »

Miku and Zach are a darling couple that wanted their wedding to be simple, elegant, and fun for their families to come together and celebrate their marriage. We met Miku and her bridesmaids at The Crystal Hotel to get ready. We walked around downtown Portland snapping some fun urban photos before heading over to Hoyt Arboretum, where we had a tearful first look with Zach. An intimate group of family and friends witnessed these two tie the knot under the tall trees surrounding their ceremony site, and then enjoyed delicious food under the A frame. There were so many heartfelt toasts to the happy couple, and Zach’s mom even sang and played guitar for them, there wasn’t a dry eye in sight! After cake cutting and mingling, everyone left to an after party at Enso Winery. There, we watched a stunning slideshow made by Miku’s friends, another beautiful moment that had everyone in tears! It was so apparent that each and every one of their guests loved and adored these two and it was wonderful to witness. They packed the dance floor to end the night and we snuck out for a sunset session before saying our goodbyes. Miku and Zach, it was an honor to capture this day for you. Congratulations again.

My goodness, just look at these two lovebirds! We had the pleasure of meeting Dida and Cutter at our Portland studio this year. We loved getting to know them and hearing their love story, and we had even more fun capturing their bright and happy personalities during their shoot on a flower farm on Sauvie Island! We walked through the rows of flowers, snapping photos along the way. Their admiration for each other was easy to capture and we loved it! Their wedding is set for next summer, and we are surely looking forward to more time spent with this amazing couple. Congrats Dida and Cutter!

Alyssa and Rene have been together since high school, but they are just as crazy about each other as the day they fell in love! We had the honor of capturing their bright, beautiful love for one another at Hoyt Arboretum, and Lindsay had the best time capturing their smiles and silly moments together. We are so glad to be a part of their epic love story and can’t wait to share photos from their wedding at Nehalem Bay Winery!

Daniela and Seth’s big day was set on a stunning family farm in mid-August. The warmth of summer mixed with the traditional Peruvian decor and food that they presented to family and friends was a perfect combination. The couple also had signature drinks and craft Jell-O shots out of an adorable food truck and everyone loved it! There were tearful toasts and first dances, and we ended the day with a sunset session to take our breath away! Thanks Daniela and Seth for having us and congratulations again!

Dana and Andy’s wedding was a perfect representation about what weddings are all about: love. They had small and meaningful details about their day that made it so special. Their friend Lindsey put together the gorgeous floral arrangements, and they included their dog in the ceremony! They were married in front of only their closest friends and family, and after the sweet ceremony, everyone enjoyed time together at the reception. It was so obvious that their guests were thrilled to be there and enjoyed every moment. We were able to take these two out for a gorgeous photo session to end the evening and love the way all their photos turned out. Congrats Dana and Andy!
