A Lovely Day | Portland Oregon Wedding Photography »

My goodness, just look at these two lovebirds! We had the pleasure of meeting Dida and Cutter at our Portland studio this year. We loved getting to know them and hearing their love story, and we had even more fun capturing their bright and happy personalities during their shoot on a flower farm on Sauvie Island! We walked through the rows of flowers, snapping photos along the way. Their admiration for each other was easy to capture and we loved it! Their wedding is set for next summer, and we are surely looking forward to more time spent with this amazing couple. Congrats Dida and Cutter!

Alyssa and Rene have been together since high school, but they are just as crazy about each other as the day they fell in love! We had the honor of capturing their bright, beautiful love for one another at Hoyt Arboretum, and Lindsay had the best time capturing their smiles and silly moments together. We are so glad to be a part of their epic love story and can’t wait to share photos from their wedding at Nehalem Bay Winery!

Daniela and Seth’s big day was set on a stunning family farm in mid-August. The warmth of summer mixed with the traditional Peruvian decor and food that they presented to family and friends was a perfect combination. The couple also had signature drinks and craft Jell-O shots out of an adorable food truck and everyone loved it! There were tearful toasts and first dances, and we ended the day with a sunset session to take our breath away! Thanks Daniela and Seth for having us and congratulations again!

Dana and Andy’s wedding was a perfect representation about what weddings are all about: love. They had small and meaningful details about their day that made it so special. Their friend Lindsey put together the gorgeous floral arrangements, and they included their dog in the ceremony! They were married in front of only their closest friends and family, and after the sweet ceremony, everyone enjoyed time together at the reception. It was so obvious that their guests were thrilled to be there and enjoyed every moment. We were able to take these two out for a gorgeous photo session to end the evening and love the way all their photos turned out. Congrats Dana and Andy!

It’s hard to put into words just how beautiful Kelly and Brian‘s wedding day was. Not only was the sun shining, their ceremony memorable, and their reception detailed to the nines, but there was a love that surrounded everyone throughout the entire day; not just the love between Kelly and Brian, but also from the excitement and support from their family and friends. It was wonderful to witness. They were married in the chapel at The University of Portland, which is sentimental to both of them. After a gorgeous ceremony, the bridal party was whisked away in a double decker bus to a reception at Langdon Farms, where they were met by all their loved ones. Yummy food, signature cocktails, and cake from Dream Cakes was served, and Father John entertained guests with song and piano. Corn hole and giant Jenga kept guests laughing until the sun went down, and then everyone said their final goodbye’s with an epic sparkler sendoff.

In Kelly’s words: “The day was an absolute dream filled with laughs, happy tears, and so much love. There were a lot of love stories that inspired and culminated with the joining of our lives and hearts. I even got to red boot dance which was such a great surprise! I don’t think we have ever felt so much pure joy than on that special day.”

Congratulations, Kelly and Brian!

Lindsey and Joseph just wanted their wedding to be simple, fun, and about celebrating their love with their closest loved ones. They opted for an intimate ceremony and dinner lit by only the sunset at their family friend’s gorgeous vineyard. The had lots of personal details and DIYs throughout their wedding, including the guest names handwritten on crystals by Lindsey herself! Their families help put everything together for their big day. Lindsey’s style was effortlessly gorgeous in a gown by Melissa Sweet, and a flower crown by Copper Blossom Design. Joseph wore a handsome navy suit and cognac shoes. Both of them looked amazing and when they saw each other during their first look sparks flew all around them! These two are so in love and it was so much fun to photograph them between the vines of grapes along the vineyard. Absolutely stunning! Their family and friends enjoyed delectable food and pies from Elephants Delicatessen. After a night of celebration and dancing, Lindsey and Joseph exited as their guests held up colored balloons — something we had never seen before and loved! We enjoyed every sweet moment of their wedding and are so glad they asked us to capture it! Congrats again, Lindsey and Joseph!

When we met Hilary and Jeremie, we instantly knew that their wedding was going to pull on the heartstrings. Every conversation we had with them and their family was filled with excitement and happy tears, and we were so excited when the big day finally came! After arriving to The Aerie at Eagle Landing, they had a heartfelt first look and a gorgeous portrait session. Their nearest and dearest loved ones witnessed them exchange vows and rings, and then celebrated together at an intimate reception where they ate delicious food, had drinks, and toasted to the newlyweds. Hilary’s son in particular made a very endearing toast to his mom and new stepdad that had us all wiping tears away! Thank you Hilary and Jeremy for having us as part of your big day. It was an honor to capture it for you!

We met Kate and Dylan over a year ago and we’ve been so excited about this day ever since. We got to know them and their loving, silly personalities during their engagement shoot, and we knew their wedding day was going to be so special. Their ceremony, held in the garden at The Victorian Belle on a perfect summer day, was filled with love and emotion. Their family and friends were beaming with joy for these two and it was so wonderful to witness. Everyone enjoyed dinner, dancing, and treats made by their families and local bakeries! These two ended the night in style, with a sparkler exit into a shiny vintage Mustang! It was a day to remember. Thank you again Kate and Dylan and congratulations!
