A Lovely Day | Portland Oregon Wedding Photography »

For some, halloween is their favorite holiday of the year, but for Holly and Jules it means much more. On halloween 2014 was the first time “I love you” was shared between them, so of course they had a halloween themed wedding! What made this day even more special was that it was held at Jules’ family home, which has already held so many memories throughout their lives. They incorporated tons of details into the day that made it so unique, including a tradition of digging up a bottle of whisky and all taking a shot before the ceremony! Holly, Jules, and their friends hand made and DIYed all of the decor, flowers, and food. All of it was absolutely ‘spook’tacular. After the ceremony, they had their faces painted in Dia De Los Muertos style, and joined their costume party! All of their guests dressed up and it was so delightful to see the creative costumes. At the end of the night, Jules’ dad lit off an actual cannon (yes, really) and then we ended the night with a big bon fire and made smores. Can we say this was the coolest wedding ever? Yeah, I think we can. Congrats again Holly and Jules!

Paige and Devin have a long history of love for each other, and their wedding day was such a perfect representation of themselves and their relationship. Both of them looked so stylish in their attire, adorning dark and moody details among a classic gown and suit. Their venue, Opal 28, is so gorgeous on it’s own, but was made even more beautiful with florals from For the Love of Floral. These two waited to see each other at the ceremony, and the moment was emotional for everyone who watched. After the beautiful exchange of vows, their near and dear family and friends enjoyed signature cocktails, delicious food, and a cake from Fat Cupcake. It was a wonderful mix of love, fun, and celebration, and we were to happy to be there! Congrats again Paige and Devin!

Michelle and Mac were married on a perfect summer day at Camas Meadows Golf Club. From the very beginning of the day when they were getting ready, everyone around them was having a good time, and that continued all the way through to the end of the night! They shared a few moments together after their first look, and we took some beautiful portraits before their emotional ceremony, where the history and strength of their relationship was solidified with vows an rings. Afterward at the reception, guests got to witness their first dance as a married couple, and delighted in a delicious dinner and cake before dancing the night away. Thank you Michelle and Mac for having us as part of this magical day.

Michelle and Josh are a delightful couple that met in a college math class. We had the pleasure of capturing their sweet love for each other at Mt. Tabor and the Portland waterfront. Their adoration for each other was so much fun for us to capture as we laughed and danced through the park. We have the honor of photographing their wedding this upcoming weekend at The Evergreen PDX, and words can’t describe how excited we are! Congrats Michelle and Josh, can’t wait to create more magic with you on your wedding day!

Miku and Zach are a darling couple that wanted their wedding to be simple, elegant, and fun for their families to come together and celebrate their marriage. We met Miku and her bridesmaids at The Crystal Hotel to get ready. We walked around downtown Portland snapping some fun urban photos before heading over to Hoyt Arboretum, where we had a tearful first look with Zach. An intimate group of family and friends witnessed these two tie the knot under the tall trees surrounding their ceremony site, and then enjoyed delicious food under the A frame. There were so many heartfelt toasts to the happy couple, and Zach’s mom even sang and played guitar for them, there wasn’t a dry eye in sight! After cake cutting and mingling, everyone left to an after party at Enso Winery. There, we watched a stunning slideshow made by Miku’s friends, another beautiful moment that had everyone in tears! It was so apparent that each and every one of their guests loved and adored these two and it was wonderful to witness. They packed the dance floor to end the night and we snuck out for a sunset session before saying our goodbyes. Miku and Zach, it was an honor to capture this day for you. Congratulations again.
