A Lovely Day | Portland Oregon Wedding Photography »

Melanie and Brian are just as sweet as they are beautiful and we’re so happy to be photographing their wedding! Amanda met them at Powell Butte Nature Park for their engagement shoot, which boasts breathtaking views of Portland as well as Mt. Hood. Their style and southwestern blanket was an awesome contrast to the scenery and the cloudy sky topped it all off. We love these photos can’t wait for their wedding next summer!melanie-and-brian-engagement-1PINIMAGEmelanie-and-brian-engagement-2PINIMAGEmelanie-and-brian-engagement-3PINIMAGE

Just wow! This wedding was filled with so much love that you could feel it. Abby and Kate were married at Youngberg Hill Winery in McMinnville, OR. Friends and family (including NINE of their nieces and nephews!) witnessed these two exchange tearful vows in front of a beautiful cloud-covered sky. There were so many special moments that made this day unforgettable. During the ceremony, a bee flew into Abby’s dress, and Kate had to get down on her knees to fish it out! We later found out that bees symbolize abundance, persistence, and teamwork…how fitting for a marriage! Immediately after they took their first steps as wife and wife, a double rainbow graced the skies. This sounds like a fairytale, doesn’t it? Abby and Kate said it felt like the whole world was celebrating with them. We agree!

It was an honor to be a part of this day. Thank you Abby and Kate for allowing us to capture all of these once-in-a-lifetime moments.

Linda and Tom were married on quite possibly the warmest summer day that Portland has ever seen. They had a ceremony witnessed by close family and friends at Oaks Pioneer Church in the Sellwood neighborhood, where they exchanged vows and rings and became husband and wife. The ever-so-talented John Ross played sweet acoustic melodies and sang while they walked down the aisle, and the church was adorned with vivid summer bouquets by Garden Inspirations. Enjoy some of the beautiful moments below. Congratulations Linda and Tom!

The chemistry between these two lovebirds is undeniable and it definitely showed during our sunset engagement session on Lake Oswego.

Ryan’s father took us all out on the water where we snapped these beautiful photos and had tons of fun riding around on their boat.  What an adventure! We chased the sunlight and concluded our shoot on the very same dock where they met. It was romantic and so special and we cannot wait for their wedding next year!

Congrats Lisa and Ryan!
