A Lovely Day | Portland Oregon Wedding Photography »

Get comfortable because this wedding is filled with tons of details, fun moments, and beautiful photos! Stephanie and Sam were married at a friend’s home in Depoe Bay, Oregon which is part of the Whale Cove. It was particularly special because they have spent many coast getaways there! Stephanie wore a Claire Pettibone dress and carried a stunning bouquet from Solabee Flowers & Botanicals. Their ceremony took place underneath a traditional Jewish chuppah, that was made by Sam’s mom and a friend. It incorporated pieces of Sam’s mom’s wedding dress, Sam’s grandmother’s wedding dress, and his other grandmother’s special table linens, wow! One of their favorite moments from the day happened during the ceremony, when Sam’s groomsman dropped the rings! They were on a deck above the ocean and were so lucky they didn’t fall through the cracks! After a sigh of relief, and of course some happy tears for the new bride and groom, family and friends enjoyed each other’s company over whale watching, delicious food (Sam even served his famous crab cakes!), treats made by Sam’s family, cake from Back to Eden Bakery, a s’mores bar, and even a cannabis bar hosted by Sam’s company, High 5 Tours! Everyone had an amazing time at this wedding and we are so happy we got to be a part of it. Congrats again, Stephanie and Sam!

Remember Aly and Eric‘s downtown Portland engagement shoot? Well we finally got to photograph their wedding, and oh my was it gorgeous! Their ceremony and reception took place at the immaculate Hotel deLuxe in downtown Portland. Eric saw his bride for the first time on a rooftop, where they held hands back to back and exchanged sweet words before the big reveal. We were all in tears! The ceremony was equally as beautiful; it was officiated by a close friend of the couple and included a traditional Hawaiian ring blessing with a bowl made in the bride’s hometown of Kona, HI. Their family and friends enjoyed dinner, dancing, and treats from Farina Bakery. The day was filled with such intricate and personal details that really made this wedding one to remember. Congrats Aly and Eric!

Sara and Nick‘s wedding took place at the always lovely Cornelius Pass Roadhouse. Their ceremony was officiated by Nick’s brother, and their heartfelt vows brought family members and friends to tears! Their reception was also nothing short of amazing; after dinner, drinks, and more happy tears during toasts, their guests got down on the dance floor all night long! Their wedding was just as fun as it was beautiful, and it was wonderful to witness and capture such a loving couple become husband and wife. Congrats again Sara and Nick!

Chelsea and Chris wed in front of their nearest and dearest family and friends on a sunny day at Morning Shade Farm in Canby, OR. Their wedding was filled with personal touches by their loved ones; including floral arrangements made by Chelsea’s mother (check out Chelsea’s bouquet, wow!) Chelsea and her bridesmaids got ready at her grandparents home overlooking Portland, and we included a portrait session surrounded by paintings by her Aunt. Their stunning late-evening ceremony (officiated by Chris’s sister) brought everyone to tears as they became husband and wife after being together for eight years! We had so much fun capturing all of the moments between this amazing couple and the people that mean most to them, and we feel so honored that they chose us to capture their first steps as husband and wife! Congratulations again, Chelsea and Chris!

Lara and Rich are a laid back and hilarious couple that we had the pleasure of meeting with at our Portland studio. Right from the get-go we knew their wedding was going to be a blast and we wanted to be a part of it! They tied the knot in front of their closest family and friends at Fiala Farms. After a sweet ceremony, everyone enjoyed food from some popular Portland food trucks — Chicken and Guns, and Tight Tacos! In lieu of cake, Lara and Rich opted for delicious pies from Lauretta Jeans. The chill vibes, amazing food, and sweet beats by the talented Dj Dmoefunk created the atmosphere for a perfect day. Thanks again for having us, Lara and Rich!
