A Lovely Day | Portland Oregon Wedding Photography »

Lisa and Ryan! Just saying their names brings a smile to my face. These two are one of the funniest and charismatic couples we’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. Ever since their engagement shoot on Lake Oswego last summer, we’ve looked forward to the day they tied the knot.

Their ceremony at St. Patrick Catholic Church tugged at the heartstrings, as Ryan tearfully watched his bride-to-be walk down the aisle. After they became husband and wife, they headed out with their bridal party in a double decker bus to a beautiful reception at Langdon Farms. Family and tons of friends enjoyed dinner, drinks, and donuts, and danced the entire night away with the happy couple. It was truly a night to remember and we are so happy we were a part of it.

We had been looking forward to Erica and Josh’s wedding ever since their engagement shoot, when they took Lindsay to the skies in an airplane! We knew that their big day was going to be magical, and it was truly a day we’ll never forget! After an elegant and tear-filled ceremony inside the Aurora Aviation Hangar, they jumped into a plane and soared over Oregon for the first time as husband as wife (quite the exit if you ask us!) They returned to an immaculate reception at The Exchange Ballroom in Portland, where family and friends enjoyed delicious food, cake, and tons of dancing. These two are truly one-of-a-kind and we are so thrilled to have been a part of this day. Congratulations Erica and Josh!

We met Sabrina and Kirsten at the Portland Bridal Show this past January. We knew right away that their love for each other is real, beautiful, and fun, and we couldn’t have been more excited when they asked us to photograph their wedding this upcoming October!

Both Sabrina and Kirsten have strong ties to Portland (Kirsten is a local DJ and Sabrina was crowned Ms Gay Portland!) so we wanted an urban vibe for their engagement shoot that showcased their Portland love. We went down to the southeast waterfront and ended on Mississippi Ave. and had so much fun snapping photos along the way. These two are hilarious and wonderful and we can’t wait for their wedding this fall!

It had always been Mary’s dream to get engaged in front of a waterfall. So when Marki, the love of her life, knew it was time to pop the question, she did what anyone would do — Surprised her with a flight from Dallas to Portland, blindfolded her, put her in a limo, and proposed in front of the second largest year-round waterfall in the United States. Oh, and hired us to capture the moment when she realized where she was (and that her dream was about to come true).

After all of the shock, laughs, and tears, we did an engagement session around the falls. These two radiate love in every direction and we are so thrilled that Marki contacted us for this life changing moment. Check out the amazing moments below.

Congratulations again, Mary and Marki!

Carissa and Shawn planned their entire wedding in two days (yes, really!) They eloped at Produce Row Cafe in Portland on St. Patrick’s Day. After their ceremony witnessed only by their nearest and dearest, they rode off in a vintage Mini Cooper to their after party at Paddy’s Bar in downtown Portland. They partied the night away (as they should!) with their friends and celebrated their love on a very lucky day. Congrats Carissa and Shawn!
